Coaching Supervision Program
Our coaching model of supervision training program is designed to help supervisors and managers develop the skills and knowledge they need to effectively lead and support their teams. Coaching Supervision is a training for supervisors and managers that helps them to effectively support and develop workers while at the same time holding them accountable.
The training introduces four broad communication skills that are essential to this approach:
Active listening – using body language, paraphrasing, and asking open questions to gain perspective and ensure understanding.
Self-awareness and self-management – being conscious of personal assumptions and/or judgments, and setting aside emotional reactions that may get in the way of listening.
Clear, non-judgmental communication – communicating clearly and directly about expectations or concerns while using language that is free of blame or judgment.
Collaborative problem-solving
**The training also introduces a 5-step process that supervisors can use to collaboratively solve problems with their direct reports.
“I learned so many helpful ways to enrich management & supervisor work! All industries, orgs, institutions, etc... should take this training.”

“If leaders could prioritize one action, it should be equipping their managers to become coaches. This means putting engagement front and center as a primary role responsibility.”
